My god the Eurovision ,is that true .I hope the guy now sees how much his music means to people and how I still hear Thin Lizzy every day at work(although I wish they would stop playing the same two songs)

Well, I have used Roland and Sonuus to try to increase my pallette of sounds... Until now those technologies were not satisfying on the bottom end of the instrument. Pitch-to-voltage technologie is not Ok due to the latency on the low frequncies. Any medium to fast play will end in false notes... As far as I see Industrial Radio have all this solved. I believe that the amount of people interested and able to pay the 4k$ will never reach the point were this instrument will be for mass comsuption and were the prices go low enough... accordingly, is difficult to find videos or reviews of this basses... so les people is awared of the good possibilities it can represent for bassists... I want one...

Wondering if the ChiSonic, Jazz Bass pick-ups are, or will be available as an aftermarket pick-up? That would be so cool!

I really dig this product - it is what I was and still am looking for - for years now!

Unfortunately I never got any infos about the Peaveys before, so I travelled the loong way through every kind of Roland, Yamaha and Axxon-equipment, which costs me a lot of money.

Sad but true, the price seems to be worth it, but as a Jazz-Student here in Berlin I woun't be able to buy that dream of mine for the next 5 years. It's especially sad, because next year I have to play my final exam and I was looking for this kind of technology for so long to use it for this special occasion.

I would be very interested in the weight of the instrument, a video to proof the good promises and the sound of the bass on its own.

I don't think it's likely that she was fired for the quality of her playing. She's solid, not particularly flashy compared to some of the other players in the band but perfectly adequate given that there are two guitars and two drummers bashing away around her. You need to keep it simple and sturdy in that situation. I think it's far more likely it was a clash of personalities, that they just weren't getting on. I've been in bands where one person is just out of place and it's often not their fault but the long-term effects can be quite wearing and you make compromises where you don't need to.

As for the band responding to their fans pokes and prods as to the true nature of the situation I think that's a bit immature. Sometimes you just need to keep your distance and let people speculate. Ultimately it's not the fans' business to know the details, and it's best to keep tight-lipped otherwise it shows there's a sore spot.

It looks cool.

And back in the day I had a Peavey Midi Bass whcih was Steve Chick's first Midi Bass guitar. And that was actually pretty good. There's almost not a day that goes by that I don't regret selling it because I wasn't using it at the time and I needed the cash....

Any idea on price?

Also the link (which I got a few places) doesn't work - says THE ACCOUNT IS SUSPENDED, whatever that means.

But it looks interesting. And I NEED a Midi Bass. (lots of reasons).
