Makers and purveyors of the finest quality Bass Guitars, Lakland of Chicago, Illinois, are releasing a short scale bass to add to their already classic packed quiver.
Not much news as yet but, the rumours are that the Lakland Decade Shorty will have a 30.5 inch scale, 18 frets, and it’s possible that there will be options for a j-bass or p-bass style neck, and from the pic it looks like it might have Lakland’s new pick-up technology, Chi-Sonic, installed as standard. - but dont hold me too it thats just what this particular bass freak picked up from message boards forums and blogs etc.
The current strapline “Killer tone now comes in a small package” is all thats needed at present to keep me glued to my inbox waiting for the press releases from Lakland to roll in.
