Last month, bassist Jeff Ament from ledgendary Seattle grunge scene pioneers, Pearl Jam was mugged by men who emerged from a nearby wooded area.
It ws outside Southern Tracks, a north Atlanta studio where the band had been recording, that Ament and another man were set upon by the muggers just as the two men were arriving at the studio in a Jeep. The shifty looking, dark clothed muggers managed to liberate a Blackberry and two computers from the Jeep before relieving Ament and his friend of around $3,000 in Cash.
De Kalb Police said the whole incident was caught on CCTV camera, however, no one has been charged in connection wih the attack.
Who carries $3000 around with them in cash?
Seriously, if they had to do an ID from the CCTV they’ll be looking for an 8bit Commodore 64 sprite.
I like that they “liberated” the Blackberry and the two computers. It suggests that the Blackberry and the computers are living togther free from the shackles of oppression! FREEDOM!
